City gets another $400,000 grant from EPA TALLADEGA — The city has been awarded $400,000 to continue the Brownfield assessment program, according to a press release issued Friday by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Half of the money is earmarked for identifying hazardous substances and the other half will go to clean up abandoned petroleum related sites.
