Being Christians, the most amazing things that will happen to all of us if we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior is the fact that we will also get to receive the Holy Spirit Himself. And we get to receive the Holy Spirit at once at our conversions with the Lord, not at some point later on.

As soon as we receive the Holy Spirit, He'll then come to live in our human spirits, in which after that, He will then start to work very closely with us so we can all fully achieve everything that God the Father want for us to accomplish for Him as you are down here on this earth.

God has got a set, divine destiny for every individual's life, and its the task of the Holy Spirit Himself in helping us meet that divine destiny for the Lord as we journey through this materialistic life. This is exactly why the Bible defines the Holy Spirit the Helper, because His job is to guide us in any part where we'll need His direct guidance on in this life.

In addition to the Holy Spirit having the capacity to help us accomplish our divine destinies for the Lord, we will also get 2 more incredible things with Him after we receive Him in our human spirits. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit can unleash 9 incredible gifts to us, together with 9 incredible fruits into our individualities.

The 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit are the following:

Love

Joy

Peace

Longsuffering

Kindness

Goodness

Faithfulness

Gentleness

Self-control

The 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit are the following:

The Word of Knowledge

The Word of Wisdom

The Gift of Prophecy

The Gift of Faith

The Gifts of Healings

The Working of Miracles

The Discerning of Spirits

Different Kinds of Tongues

The Interpretation of Tongues

The key differences in between both of these are that the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit are for the purpose of our gratitude in the Lord. God's greatest and highest desire for everyone is our praise in Him. He wants to have us more holy just like Himself. He desires to transform us into the precise picture of His Son Jesus Christ. He wants to bless and set us apart to Himself.

These 9 certain fruits are character attributes comes straight from the Lord Himself. These is His direct character qualities, and not ours. This will be God's peace, love, and joy which will start to run through us once the Holy Spirit starts to release as well as transmit these fruits into our individualities. Therefore, each believer must talk to God to begin to work these divine qualities into their personalities hence we can all become more Christ-like in our words, actions, as well as habits.

The 9 gifts are direct manifestations that we also can get from the Holy Spirit, but many of these gifts will be applied to help others out. The 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit are meant more for our own praise in the Lord, but the 9 gifts are major power gifts you can use that can help other people out in their time of need.

We all needs words of knowledge and wisdom from the Lord every once in awhile through other christians. God uses these kinds of gifts to help build us up and to help affirm what He has already told us.

We also require the gift of healing to show itself often so people can be good again and stay on their divine destinies for the Lord. The gift of the discerning of spirits can be used to help someone out who have demons attached with them. The gift of tongues may be used to pray to the Lord if we will not know how to pray about something specific.

In general, every single believer must ask the Lord in intense, heart-felt prayer to release the 9 fruits along with the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit within their lives, as all of us need these to turn into the kind of holy person God wants us to become in Him, along with needing them to totally accomplish our divine destinies for Him while we live through this worldly life.
