The Northeast Alabama Business Directory is a service of the Consolidated Publishing Co., publishers of The Anniston Star, The Daily Home, The Jacksonville News, The Cleburne News, The St. Clair Times and The Piedmont Journal.

The sole purpose of the Northeast Alabama Business Directory is to bring local consumers and local businesses together. Our Terms of Use of this service are:

The Northeast Alabama Business Directory will not knowingly provide to, or accept from, any advertiser, Web pages that contain, or links to Web sites that contain anything illegal, pornographic, degrading or abusive to another person, including but not limited to gambling, hate-group propaganda; or provide links to such material that may provide material that is grossly offensive, including but not limited to expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred, profanity; or for promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities, or promoting physical harm or injury against any individual, group, race or country.

Advertisers agree to provide products or services that may only be used for lawful purposes. Providing or solicitation of any material that violates United States Federal, State, or other policies or laws that may apply in this jurisdiction or your local area is prohibited. This may include material that is obscene, threatening, harassing, libelous, or in any way a violation of intellectual property laws. Advertisers also agree to abide by the policies of the Consolidated Publishing Co. and any host server that the Northeast Alabama Business Directory may utilize. No material may be published on Web pages provided by the Northeast Alabama Business Directory, or linked through or to, that would commonly be considered indecent or adult material.

Neither Consolidated Publishing Co. nor its subsidiaries shall be responsible, nor held liable for, your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Northeast Alabama Business Directory Web site, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings. These actions are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that Consolidated Publishing Co. and its subsidiaries shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Northeast Alabama Business Directory.

Consolidated Publishing Co. respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our advertisers to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact the Online Director of Consolidated Publishing Co. with the following information:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  3. A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site.
  4. Your address, telephone number and e-mail address.
  5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

The Consolidated Publishing Co. makes no guarantee as to the availability of the Northeast Alabama Business Directory Web site or of the products and/or services available on the advertiser pages or the advertiser-linked Web sites. The opinions and views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of Consolidated Publishing Co., its subsidiaries, or its employees.

Consolidated Publishing Co. reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Northeast Alabama Business Directory (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that neither Consolidated Publishing Co. nor its subsidiaries shall be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the directory.
