LINCOLN — Highland View in Lincoln is offering quality townhouses at affordable prices.

“These townhouses are simple living at its best,” said real estate developer Jeff Jones. “They are perfect for small families, couples starting out, retirees and more,” he said.

Jones said the concept for the townhouses was to put all the amenities of a more expensive home into townhouses at more affordable prices.

“We have very attractive financing available too,” he said.

Jones said buyers have a choice of three floor plans, with payments starting at under $600 a month.

“The townhouses have either two or three bedrooms, with two bathrooms each,” he said. “Some have garages.”

The townhouses have low maintenance brick siding, and small yards to maintain, Jones said.

“All the utilities are underground,” he said. “We have lighted streets and are also building a swimming pool.”

Jones said the townhouses in Highland View are a step up from the basic “spec” home furnishings.

“The homes have tile, hardwood, and carpet flooring,” he said. “No vinyl is used in these homes.”

Jones said out of 53 total acres, about 10 acres has been developed so far.

“Five townhouses are completed so far,” he said. “One has sold, two are under contract, and two are available. We also have six more that will be complete within 45 days or so.”

Jones said 34 units are planned in the first phase of development.

“We will build in stages on demand,” he said.

Highland View, located at the corner of U.S. 77 and U.S. 78, is in a central location in Lincoln, Jones said.

“We are one mile from Interstate 20, two miles from the new Lincoln schools, and two-and-a-half miles from Honda,” he said.

Jones said Highland View is the only townhouse subdivision in Lincoln.

“You can get a nice place for what you could rent for or less,” he said. “We are doing something different, and we want people to know about it.”
