BOLTON

CENTRE — Funeral services for Mr. L. J. Bolton, 76, will be at 2 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

DANIELS

OXFORD — A memorial service will be at for Linda Forbus Daniels, 59, at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008, in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Yates officiating. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Daniels passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at her residence in Oxford. She was a 1967 graduate of Oxford High School and attended Southern Union State Junior College. She was a resident of both Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville Beach, Florida, before recently returning to Oxford. She is survived by her sister, Gloyce Forbus of Oxford; two aunts, Lorene Forbus Clark and Dot Walker Nelson; one uncle, Clyde Walker and wife, Sue Walker; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. Forbus and Opal Walker Forbus. The family requests absolutely no flowers, but memorial contributions may be made to your favorite church or charity. Clay County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

GORAY

TALLADEGA — Funeral services for Ms. Mary Virginia Goray, 79, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

HANEY

SPRING GARDEN — Funeral services for Mr. Paul Mack Haney, 60, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Cooper and Dr. Ed Coogler officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Haney died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his home.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Haney and Jeffrey Haney (Teri Lee), all of Spring Garden; three grandchildren, Kayla Haney, Jacqueline Haney and Matthew Haney; three sisters, Sue Bright (Robert), of Ellisville, Betty Poore and Lynn Love (Tommy), all of Centre; two brothers, Jackie Haney, of Centre and Randy Haney (Sandy), of Piedmont; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ted Sexton, Bobby Weaver, Robert Bright, Jonathan McGowan, Greg Nicholson, Tony Winkles and Wally Jahn. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell "Porky" Strickland and Donald Gowens. Mr. Haney was a native and resident of Cherokee County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont and a former employee of Rome Plow and Union Foundry. Mr. Haney was a very hard worker and a good provider for his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Nicholson Haney; his parents, Dewey and Maebell Haney; and a brother, Sam Haney. JENKINS

GULF SHORES — Funeral service for Gerald Michael Jenkins, 57, formerly of Jacksonville, will be at 12 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008, at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. Bruce Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 Sunday evening. Mr. Jenkins died Thursday, June 26, 2008.

Pallbearers will be Billy Green, Larry (Vic) Miller, Rodney Hill, Tommy Weir, John Swift, Gene Robinson, and Terry Keener. The family would like to thank the staff at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Dr. Michael Houston for their love and great care given to Gerald thru his long illness. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Coker of Gulf Shores; a son, Christopher Matthew Jenkins of Gulf Shores; a granddaughter, Ella Elizabeth Jenkins; a sister, Cathy Jenkins of Knoxville, Tenn.; and a brother, Kenneth Jenkins of Jacksonville. KIRK

SNYDER, Texas — Memorial services for Miss Stephan Christine Kirk, 22, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gray Brown Service Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service. Miss Kirk passed away in Snyder, Texas. Miss Kirk was born August 15, 1985 in Snyder, Texas. She graduated from Ira High School in 2004. She enjoyed basketball and softball. She was a manager for the basketball team and she was a member of the FFA and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Miss Kirk was also a Junior member of American Legion Aux. for 18 years in Anniston and enjoyed computers and photography.

Survivors include mother and step-father, Barbara and Larry Richards, of Snyder, Texas; father and stepmother, Brian and Jamie Kirk, of Anniston; one son, Everette Tanner, of Snyder, Texas; four brothers, David and Rabon Kirk, both of Anniston, Alan Kirk, of Atlanta and William Kirk, of Birmingham; two sisters, Nicole and Kelly Kirk, both of Anniston; her grandparents, Carolyn and Levelle Robinette, of Anniston, David and Charlotte Blasingame, of Georgia and Pat and James Jones, of Weaver; aunts and uncles, Sherry Jamison, of Snyder, Teresa and Mark Hayes, of Alexandria, James Blasingame, of North Carolina, Joseph Kirk, of Austin, Texas, Curtis Kirk, of Anniston, Kenny and Keitha Kirk, of Weaver, Patrick and Lisa Kirk, of Anniston. One sister, Michelle Blasingame and grandfather, Orman Louis Kirk precede Miss Kirk in death. Miss Kirk was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin.
