OXFORD — Funeral services for Carter Donald Walden, age 64, will be announced later. Mr. Walden died on Friday, June 27, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Carol Walden, a son, Bradford Walden, and his wife, Jennifer, a daughter, Donna Grizzard, and her husband, Michael, grandchildren; Michael Glenn Grizzard, Caitlin Grizzard, Joseph Grizzard, Carter Walden, Lilly Walden, great grandchildren; Jonathan Grizzard and Madison Grizzard, brothers; Lavaughn Walden, and his wife, Connie, Earl Walden, and his wife, Barbara. Donald was a graduate of Oxford High School and also majored in Law Enforcement at JSU. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the Alabama Bureau of Investigations. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.O. & Mertice Walden, sister, Judy Viviette Walden Butler and a niece, Diana Butler.
