ASHLAND — Funeral services for George Caridakis, 76, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. Visitation from 5-8 tonight at Clay County Funeral Home. ANNISTON — Funeral services for Mr. Derrick "Decky" Dreuitt, 44, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Rest Haven Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ray Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The remains will be at the church one hour prior to the services. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Ervin Funeral Chapel of Chimes. ANNISTON — Funeral service for Kimberly Cassandra Milner, 47, who passed away, June 30, 2008 after a 29 year battle with MS, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. the Rev. Charles Wright will officiate and burial will be in Iron City Cemetery. Her family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. Mrs. Milner was a native and life long resident of Anniston. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy B. Couch and nephew, Christopher Hicks. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Wright (Jamie); father, Sam Couch Jr.; brother, Sammy Couch; sisters, Pat Ledbetter and Nancy Couch; granddaughters, Meaghan and Savannah Wright; nieces, Darla Hudson, Nicki Nelson; nephews, Joshua Crawford, Tracy Nelson, and Patrick Smith. Rodney McInnis and the Rev. Ken Grubb officiating. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the church. The Rev. Pollock died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Jacksonville Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Olive Louise Pollock; three daughters, Marsha Pollock Barr (Jack) of Jefferson, N.C., Charity Ann Buerhaus, of Piedmont and Faith Annette Grubb (Ken), of Phenix City; two sons, Douglas Kent Pollock (Donna), of Wilmington, Del. and Timothy Eugene Pollock (Vickie), of Charlotte, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Minteer, of East Moline, Ill. Pallbearers will be Brandon Pollock, Paul Grubb, Mark Buerhaus, Matt Buerhaus, Michael Buerhaus and Benjamin Pollock. Honorary pallbearer will be Andrew Pollock. The Rev. Pollock was born in Iowa and was raised in Illinois. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, was a graduate of Piedmont Bible College in Winston Salem, N.C. and pastored for 55 years in six states. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Louise Chrisco; a sister, Beatrice Asmus; and a son-in-law, The Rev. Chuck Buerhaus.
