CEDAR BLUFF — A Memorial service for Doris Faye Alexander will be at later in Maryland and cremains will be buried in Waynesburg Pa. Perry Funeral Home in charge.

BRADSHAW

ANNISTON — Funeral services for Ida Mae Keebler Bradshaw, 73, will be at 12 p.m. Saturday at Kilgroe Chapel with the Rev. D. Whitt Hibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens and Mausoleum in Anniston. The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Mrs. Bradshaw died Wednesday, July 2, 2008.

Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Keebler Burke; three aunts, Mary McCullough Bagwell, Ellen Keller, Ruth Atchley; nieces, Debra Burke Carroll and Kathryn Burke; and great-nephew, Joshua Craig Stevens. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dempsey Bradshaw. Kilgroe Funeral Home-Pell City will direct the services.

DRYDEN

HEFLIN — Ola Mae Phillips Dryden, 91, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dryden will be at 11 a.m. today, July 4, 2008 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. J. L. Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be relatives and friends.

Survivors include a son, Edward and wife, "Squeaky" Phillips, of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Mayfield, of Plainview and Dorothy Threat, of Oak Level; brothers, Charles Gilmer and Bob Gilmer, both of Oak Level; granddaughter, Karon (Bill) Goodman, of Anniston; three great-grandsons, Matt Jones, of Oxford, David (Renee) Goodman, of Anniston and Sean Goodman, of Jacksonville; several step grandchildren. Mrs. Dryden was a native and resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was a retired nurse from Bremen Hospital and was a Baptist by faith. WELLINGTON — Memorial service for Kenneth Melvin Haga, 59, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Haga passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Wellington. Mr. Haga is survived by his daughter, Shelley Cofield, of Anniston, Corey Haga, of Florida and Zacharial Haga, of Tuscaloosa; two grandchildren, Olivia Elkins and Tori Haga; sister, Patsy Decker, of Summerset, Ky.; brother, James Haga, of Kennesaw, Ga.; close friend, Lindy Adams, of Wellington and Tubby Bass. HANNERS

ASHLAND — Funeral services for Mr. Delmer (Speedy) Hanners, 88, will be at Saturday, July 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Clay County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-8 at the funeral home. Mr. Hanners passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Clay County Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Wellborn Cabinet Company. He enjoyed farming, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a Baptist by faith. Mr. Hanners was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Hanners; one sister; three brothers; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. He is survived by three daughters, Frances Emory, of Wetumpka, Gail Bowen (Terry), of Ashland and Ann Seymour (Richard), of Ashland; two sons, Delmer Hanners Jr., (Terry), of Morrisons Cross Roads, and Randy Hanners (Pat), of Ashland; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers for Mr. Hanners will be Terry Jones, Johnny Ray Smith, Jeremy Bowen, Lance Hanners, Micheal Bowen, Drew Cadle, David Flournoy, and Tommy Carr. Honorary pallbearers will be staff of Clay County Nursing Home and nephews. Clay County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

MACKEY

AUBURN — Funeral service for Mrs. Lizzie Mae Watts Mackey, 90, formerly of Clay County, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the County Line Baptist Church. the Rev. Zenus Windsor, The Rev. Braden Morrison, and Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining Church Cemetery. She will lie instate at the Church for one hour prior to the services. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 - 7 at Radney Funeral Home in Alexander City. Mrs. Mackey passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Clay County on January 12, 1918 to Draper Watts and Minnie Price Watts. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church and worked at Lineville Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant. She also worked as a private duty nurse for the sick and elderly in her community. She is survived by her sons, Terry Mackey of Auburn and Roy Mackey of Lincoln; two sisters, Doris Hurst and Maude Hurst, both of Lineville; and two brothers, Floyd Watts and Bobby Joe Parker, both of Lineville.
