She was born on Aug. 13, 1912 in Goodwater to R.C. Harris and Pirl Harris. Mrs. Jacobs, along with her husband, owned and operated Jacobs Flowers and Growers in Goodwater for fifty years. She will be remembered for her floral arrangements in local churches. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret J. Pope of Jacksonville; son, Harold Jacobs (Gail) of Talladega; grandchildren, Chris Pope and Lee Pope of Atlanta, Ga., Brian Jacobs (Shelia) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Dana Stratton (Derrel) of Huntsville; great grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin, and Samuel Jacobs.
