KATIE MARY BILBREW TALLADEGA — Funeral services for Katie Mary Bilbrew, 58, will be Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m. at Mt Canaan Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Horace Patterson, Minister Laura Harris, and The Rev. Hugh Morris. Burial will be at Armour's Memorial Garden in Alexander City. The body will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service. Ms. Bilbrew died Tuesday, June 3 at Brookwood Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and four sisters. She was a social worker for St. Germains Group Home for Foster children, and was a member of Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter, Kim Franklin and her husband of NY; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; three aunts; host of nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Gloria J. Goodson, 34, will be Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel, Pell City, with the Rev. Billy Abrams officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Ms. Goodson passed away June 11, 2008 in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Sullins. She is survived by a daughter, Victoria Morris of Tullahoma, Tenn.; two sons, Andrew and Aaron Morris of Tullahoma, Tenn.; mother, Barbara Sullins of Pell City; two sisters, Kim (David) Klutts of Harrison, AR, and Terrah (Anthony) Connell of Leeds; three brothers, Wade (Lana) Sullins of Ashville, Chris Goodson of Birmingham and Tim (Ashlee) Goodson of Nashville, Tenn.; grandmother, Margie Morrow of Birmingham; and grandparents, Billy and Ann Lolly of Birmingham. Family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

TALLADEGA — Funeral services for Mrs. Adelle S. Jacks, 86, will be Saturday, June 14, 2008, 11 a.m., at Usrey Chapel with Mr. Ronnie L. Hurst officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Jacks died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Stringfellow Hospital, Anniston, Ala. She was a native of Clay County and lived in Talladega most of her life. She was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Jacks was a member of the Church of Christ in Talladega, where she taught Sunday School Class for four and five year olds for twenty-five years. Mrs. Jacks is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Lisa Jacks, of Talladega; granddaughters, Lori Jacks of Talladega and Lindsay Jacks of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jacks.
Pallbearers are Charles Kearley, Wayne Kearley, Roy Hollingsworth, Paul Selby, Ed Collins and Gene DeVandry. Usrey Funeral Home will direct the services.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Donavan C. Kendrick, age 3, will be Friday, June 13, at 4 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Walker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Master Kendrick passed away June 11, 2008 at his residence. Donavan was the light of his families lives. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Campbell of Sylacauga; father, Jackie Kendrick of Sylacauga; two brothers, Jaylan Hines and Galan Kendrick; two sisters, Addison and Jacqueline Kendrick; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Frances Campbell of Sylacauga; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Hicks of Kellyton; uncles, Brian and Brad Campbell and William Kendrick; aunts, Debbie Campbell and Teresa Wright; and special caregivers, Pam Milam, Candice Presley, Autumn Lamberth, Dr. Robert Gray, Dr. David Lozano, Dr. Percy, Donnie Slayton, Cheryl Jones and Tangie Collins.

CROPWELL — Sandra Lee, 69, died Tuesday, June 10. She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Lee, Sr; daughters, Sherri Lee and Allison Jay; son, Richard M. Lee, Jr.; brother, Sidney Cook; and three grandchildren. Sandra loved working in her garden and caring for all of God's creatures.
