IDA MAE KEEBLER BRADSHAWANNISTON — Funeral services for Ida Mae Keebler Bradshaw, 73, will be Saturday, July 5, at 12 noon at Kilgroe Chapel, Pell City, with the Rev. D. Whitt Hibbs officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens and Mausoleum, Anniston. Mrs. Bradshaw died July 2, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dempsey Bradshaw. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Keebler Burke; three aunts, Mary McCullough Bagwell, Ellen Keller and Ruth Atchley; nieces, Debra Burke Carroll and Kathryn Burke; and great nephew, Joshua Craig Stevens. LINCOLN — Funeral Mass for Mrs. Jacqueline A. Coogler, age 70, will be Saturday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at the St. Peters Episcopal Church in Talladega with Father Ray Waldon officiating. Mrs. Coogler passed away July 2, 2008 at St. Vincent's St. Clair Medical Center in Pell City. Survivors are her husband, Warner Geary Coogler Sr. of Lincoln; four sons, Warner Geary Coogler Jr. of Talladega, L. Scott Coogler of Tuscaloosa, Kevin E. Coogler of Florence and Andrew Shea Coogler of Nevada, IA; one sister, Gayle Chappel of Geraldine; two brothers, Bill Bailes of Houston, Texas, and John C. Bailes of Goodwater; and 15 grandchildren. Mrs. Coogler was a native of Birmingham and had been a resident of Lincoln for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church. She was very active in the Talladega Heritage Hall and was a member of the Daughters of the King. The family will receive friends at the church after the funeral mass Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Peters Episcopal Church. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.

CHILDERSBURG — Funeral service for Mrs. Louise M. Fleming, age 82, will be Saturday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Tony McGrady officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Fleming was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Fleming; and son, Fray Fleming. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Childersburg for over 60 years. She has touched the lives of many with her wonderful ways and will be fothe Rever remembered and cherished by daughter, Marilyn Fleming Traylor (Tom) of Chelsea; granddaughter, Alice James (Chris) of Castlerock, Colo.; grandsons, Peter Traylor (Andrea) of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Andrew Traylor (Amie) of Talladega; great granddaughters, Lauren and Riley of Castlerock, Colo.; sisters, Maude McLain and Jean Smith (Gene); brothers, Comer McConatha and Victor McConatha all of the Sylacauga area; and numerous extended family members and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, July 5, from 9-11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral services for David Tilton Gravette, 81, will be at Saturday, July 5, at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation will be at the Chapel on July 5, from 11-11:30 a.m. for family and 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for the friends. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. David, known to the men at Kimberly-Clark as "Moe" and to many others as "Mr. Dave" passed away July 2, 2008 at St. Vincent's Hospital. David was a lifetime resident of Talladega County where he worked in construction for brief periods before returning to work at Kimberly-Clark for 35 years. He was a 60 year member of Local 91 of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union. He owned and operated Gravette and Sons Plumbing for many years. He was a Blue Lodge Mason (Member of 929 F. and A.M. Lodge), a York rite Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Gravette was a long time member of Marble City Baptist Church. A heartfelt "thank you" to the doctors especially Dr. Patricia Patterson, the nurses and assistants, especially 5 West and the Pastoral Care Department of St. Vincent's Hospital for their kindness, compassion and care. David touched many lives in Talladega County. He did plumbing work for many people in Talladega County and touched many lives in other ways. He lived to work. David is survived by his wife, Lynn of Sylacauga; one son, Michael Craig Gravette Sr. and wife Julie of Childersburg; daughters, Memorie Gravette Blacklock of Aledo, Texas, Renee Gravette Naugher and husband Jack of Center Point, Jan Gravette Brasher of Sylacauga; step-daughters, Lynnette Bates Burton of Birmingham, Julia Bates McQuinn and husband Stuart of Fort Washington, Wis.; brother, Ralph K. Gravette and wife Ruth of Sylacauga; sister, Mary Edna Talbert; grandchildren, Michelle husband Jason, Amber husband Christian, Michael, David, Jessie, Christopher, Brandi, M.J., Jeremy, Lee; great grandchildren, Austin, Bailey, Hayden, Rylee, Dagen, Sydney. Masons will serve as pallbearers at the graveside. He was an avid Auburn Tiger "WAR EAGLE". Mr. Gravette will have a Masonic graveside. LINCOLN — Funeral services for Mr. Tonquerrius Laron Miller, age 21, will be Saturday, July 5, at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. J. Stafford Rowser Jr., the Rev. Timothy Huffman, the Rev. Brian Miller and the Rev. George Truss officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery, Lincoln. Mr. Miller will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to service. Mr. Miller died June 30, 2008 in Lincoln. He was educated in the Talladega County School System; a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Curtis Truss. He is survived by his father, Tony Green of Lincoln; mother, Cecilla A. Miller of Lincoln; brothers, Devoris Miller, Zacary Green, Anthony Butler all of Lincoln; sisters, Alexsis Green and Cindy Holcomb both of Lincoln; grandparents, Charlie (Annie) Miller and Edwina Truss all of Lincoln; and special friend, Melissa Threatt of Lincoln. ALPINE — Graveside services for Mr. Almon Elmo Parks, age 80, will be Saturday, July 5, at 2 p.m. at the Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Roy Shaw Sr. and Lee Roy Shaw Jr. officiating. Mr. Parks passed away July 2, 2008 at Citizens BMC in Talladega. Survivors are his wife, Mildred A. "Billie" Parks of Alpine; one daughter, Marie Moses (Gary) of Alpine; one son, Allan Parks (Jo Ann Reed) of Alpine; one sister, Elizabeth Dunn of Alpine; three grandchildren, Jason A. Parks (Amy), Lacy McCullers (Edward), Lindsey Moses; two great grandchildren, Brent Parks and Mason McCullers. Mr. Parks is preceded in death by his parents, Almon E. and Edna Earl Parks; also a sister, Betty Smith. Active pallbearers are Buron Taylor, Edward McCullers, Mike Hill, Guy Smith Jr., Charles Brownlow and Leroy Shaw Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Hiram Estes, Billy Crowe and H.L. Hill. Mr. parks was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. He was a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church and was a retired supervisor with the Independent Life Insurance Company for some 30 years.
