HILDA FAYE FINN

CHILDERSBURG — Hilda Faye Finn, 82, died Aug. 27, 2008 at Sylacauga Health Care. Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.

LINDA KAY FOWLER

WEOGUFKA — Funeral service for Linda Kay Fowler, 59, will be Friday, Aug. 29, at 2 p.m. at Weogufka Family Worship Center with the Rev. Tommy Thornton and the Rev. Philip Alverson officiating. Interment will be in Weogufka Family Worship Center Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Mrs. Fowler died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at her residence. Survivors are her husband, Wendell Fowler of Weogufka; daughter, Amanda Grace Fowler of Weogufka; sisters, Wanda Gail Robinson of Weogufka and Rebecca Ann Whitehouse of Pell City. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5-9 p.m. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.

Pallbearers will be Ken Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Dexter Wilson, Benton Wilson, Jeremy Grimes and Pete Nordquist. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Weogufka Family Worship Center. Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.

EDDIE "SON" ISBELL

RAGLAND — Funeral service for Mr. Eddie "Son" Isbell, 58, will be Friday, Aug. 29, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel, Pell City, with the Rev. David Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Isbell went to be with the Lord on Aug. 27, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Survivors are his wife, Mary Isbell; daughters, Cristy (Brian) Savage, Becky (Chris) White, Lea (Michael) Warren all of Pell City; sisters, Louise Tollison and Brenda (Louie) Gaither both of Pell City; mother-in-law, Kathryn Bowman; grandchildren, Kristan Savage, Kaleigh Warren, Chase Warren, Blake White and Emily White; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Callahan, James Savage, Dale Orr, Gary Knox, Mathew Gaither and Jason Newton. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Gaither and Louie Gaither. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

CHARLES "JOHN" LAMBERT

PELL CITY — Funeral service for beloved father and grandfather, Charles "John" Lambert, 56, will be Aug. 29, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Bro. Clarence Denney officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery. Mr. Lambert died Aug. 27, 2008 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham. Survivors are three daughters, Brandie Davis and husband Kenny of Sylacauga, Amanda Lambert (Jimmie Callahan) of Pell City and Julie Lambert (Ryan Lundy) of Pell City; mother, Eleanore Glass of Pell City; two grandchildren, Johnathon Thomas Kelley and Henley Kate Davis; six sisters, Brenda Haines, Patricia Reeves, Margaret Germany, Blenda Peoples, Janie Hill and Deborah Rhodes; and three brothers, Grover Peoples Jr., Bobby Peoples and James Oniel Lambert. Visitation will be Aug. 28, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Childersburg Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Davis, Jimmie Callahan, Tommy Charles Glass, Eddie Glass, Brandon Gray and Matt Haines. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.

LOIS JEAN STEPHENS

MUNFORD — Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Jean Stephens, 74, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, at the Munford Church of Christ with Jeff Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Munford Cemetery. Mrs. Stephens passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at her home in Munford. She was born Oct. 6, 1933 in Eastaboga but lived most of her life in Munford where she was a homemaker. She was a 1952 graduate of Munford High School. She was a faithful member of the Munford Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy E. Stephens; three sons, Eddy Stephens (Pamela) of Mobile, Eugene Stephens (Cynthia) of Oxford and Jay Kirk Stephens (Katherine) of Munford; one daughter, Connie Stephens of Munford; one sister, Mrs. Sue Byrd of Dearmanville; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Stephens, Ryan Stephens and Donny Stephens of Mobile, Mrs. Amanda Jones and Mrs. Kim Mayo of Munford; three great grandchildren, Clay Jones, Seth Jones and Hunter Mayo of Munford; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kirkpatrick; and her brother, Mr. Lewis Harold (Preacher) Kirkpatrick of Munford.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Stephens, Donny Stephens, Britt Weems, Justin Jones, Frank Mayo and Jeff Hughes. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday evening, Aug. 28. There will be visitation at the church on Friday from 12-2 p.m. The family recognizes with grateful appreciation the assistance of Physicians Choice Dialysis, Regional Paramedics, Mid-South Home Health and Mrs. Janice Daniel, her personal caregiver. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the services.

EDIE WILLIAMS

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Mrs. Edie Williams, age 82, will be Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Dr. Bill Dean and Douglas Williams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Aug. 26, 2008 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga. She was a member of First Baptist Church and co-owner of Williams Electric. Survivors are her husband of 63 years, Virgil Williams of Sylacauga; son, Doug Williams and wife Sherry of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Brian Williams and Chris Williams; and five great grandchildren. Online registry at www.mem.com. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sarah Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
