Nothing helps foster a sense of community better than getting everyone together to celebrate a town’s accomplishments and recognize one of their own.Oak Grove did exactly that this week when it held Bloise Zeigler Day to honor the former mayor for all he helped do for the town. Zeigler was the mayor for two decades, and his accomplishments range from helping create the fire department to procuring the Town Hall building for Oak Grove.
The event also recognizes senior citizens here.
We think this is a great way to bring the residents, civic leaders and business owners together and applaud everyone in Oak Grove for making it happen every year.
