Of special note: Dr. Murphy retiring

After 30 years in Talladega, Dr. Leigh Murphy, a general surgeon with Talladega Surgery Associates, will be retiring at the end of this month. Not only has he been an important part of this area’s medical community, he has been an essential part of our business community as well. He and Dr. Charles Lambert founded Talladega Surgery Associates in 1979 — a practice that has four doctors today. Murphy has said he is retiring to spend more time with his family and loved ones, and we wish him all the best in the years to come.
