The credit union is sponsoring a citywide “shred-a-thon” so residents here can securely destroy sensitive personal documents – one of the more common sources of information criminals can use to steal your identity. While shredding the documents does not provide absolute protection, it goes a long way to keeping your personal information just that – personal. We think this is a great move by the credit union and encourage residents to take advantage of this service while it is offered.
