Of special note: New Pell City school to be dedicated

07-01-2008

The Pell City School System will soon have a new addition to its school roster – Elouise and Harold Williams Intermediate School.
Officials have announced plans to hold an official opening ceremony on Aug. 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 pm.
And that is welcome news for a school system that continues to grow. The new school will certainly help with a burgeoning school population.
Special thanks go to Elouise and Harold Williams who donated 10 acres of the 22-acre site to the school system’s Education Foundation to pave the way for a new school. Their generosity and their dedication to their former hometown are inspiring, and the school will serve as their legacy to school children for generations to come.
