Thanks to hard work on the part of the Comer library officials and a $60,000 federal grant, patrons using the facility will have an easier time finding exactly what they are looking for.The Polaris computer system uses a familiar “online bookstore” format to allow library visitors to browse easily and quickly through the more than 90,000 titles available to be checked out.
What’s more, the system can also remind people when they have material that is overdue to be returned.
We applaud the library for striving to make its services even easier to use and for working so hard to keep up with ever-changing technology.
Comer Library continues to be an excellent example of everything a small-town library should be.
