Childersburg has a day full of events planned for everyone this weekend as part of its Coosa Fest celebration. The annual event has grown over the years and continues to be a great way to for Childersburg residents to gather, celebrate and show off their city to people from around the area and across the state.
And there will be something for everyone, from a special breakfast at the historic Kymulga Grist Mill to food, vendors and a host of activities to a day filled with music and entertainment.
Putting on an event this size and keeping everything coordinated is no small task. We applaud the people who are working so hard to make Coosa Fest a success.
We hope everyone in and around Childersburg and from across the region will come out and join in the celebration.
