David Salmon and his brother Ramey Salmon opened AutoMax Rent-a-Car in Rome in 1980 and have since opened locations in Cartersville and Norcross.

The business, located at 506 Turner McCall Blvd., employs six people and specializes in larger vehicles, such as moving trucks, vans, and buses. They also have basic rental cars too.
