St. Vincent’s St. Clair recently raised money for the Relay for Life with the assistance of their physicians.

Angela Partin, a registered nurse, recommended that each physician have a donation bucket for the cause and the physician with the most funds raised was to receive a “pie in the face.” Coworkers, fellow physicians, patients and even EMS workers participated in the effort.

Dr. Van Baker was the winner of the contest. Chances were sold and a drawing was held to determine who would have the honor of tossing the pie.

Charlene Mason, one of the Pink Ladies, drew from the entrants and registered nurse Amy O’Barr won the opportunity to throw the pie. Bob Crisp/The Daily Home
