For decades, Pell City First United Methodist Church Christian Outreach has banded together volunteers around a Christmas Bazaar that raises money for worthy causes throughout the community.

The Christian Love Pantry, YWCA, American Cancer Society, Spring Valley School, Leukemia Society, Community Action Agency, Salvation Army, Toys for Children and Lakeside Hospice have all been on the receiving end of the group’s benevolence.

The church’s Christian Outreach also makes regular visits to nursing homes and those who are home bound.

Its impact is just what the name implies — a benefit felt throughout the community as this group reaches out to serve.

The bazaar is Saturday, Nov. 7, at the church’s fellowship building, The Beacon, and it is one of the oldest in area. We encourage support of the bazaar, knowing that a purchase made there goes a long way in helping a variety of organizations in all corners of the community.
