More and more, we hear stories of people having to make tough choices between receiving the medicines they need and paying bills or buying groceries. That’s a decision no American should have to make.
To help ease some of that burden, Oak Grove has joined a growing number of municipalities that are stepping in to lend a hand to citizens. The Town Council voted to take part in a National League of Cities prescription discount program that can be used at local pharmacies.
It’s that kind of help local residents need most right now, and we applaud the council members for making life easier for the people they serve.
