Local All-Stars lose in extra innings

Sylacauga’s 15-year-old all-stars suffered a tough loss Friday night, losing to Alexander City 5-4 in eight innings. In 14-year-old play, Sylacauga defeated Alex City, 8-3. Meanwhile, Talladega’s 13-year-olds hammered Roanoke, 10-2. No further details from the games were available at press time. Action is scheduled to continue in all three tournaments today.
