A great season for the B.B. Comer Lady Tiger softball team came to an end Tuesday, as ninth-ranked Montevallo swept them 3-2 and 13-3 in the first round of sub-state.“It was just one of those days,” head coach O.C. Barclay said. “Nothing we did worked very well.
“We didn’t hit the ball, our bats went cold. And our pitching wasn’t where it usually is, either. I can’t explain it; we just didn’t play very well.”
