BILLY J. ROWE
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Billy J. Rowe, 67, was Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City with the Rev. Daryl McAvoy and the Rev. Mike Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Cook Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Rowe died March 10 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Pell City. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed talking on his CB radio. His CB handle, "Blue Rambler", was in reference to his 1963 blue Rambler. He was a member of Cook Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie M. Jackson Rowe; a son and two daughters.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Rowe (Mary) of Pell City; sister, Helen L. Sudsberry of Pell City; brother, Alfonzo Rowe (Anna Laura) of Pell City; grandchildren, Phillip Rowe Jr. and Jackie Deanna Rowe; great-grandchild, Nolan Grant Rowe and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m.

Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.

TERRY WAYNE
SPIDLE

BIRMINGHAM — Funeral service for Terry Wayne Spidle, 60, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Spidle died March 9. He was preceded in death by his father, John Spidle.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Spidle; daughters, Laura Spidle and Paige Tingley; son, Kevin Spidle; mother, Dorothy Spidle; sister, Norma Patterson; brother, Henry Spidle; four grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.

The family received friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds will direct the service.

BERLENE R. SWEATT
ODENVILLE — Funeral service for Berlene R. Sweatt, 69, was Saturday at 2 p.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City with the Rev. Jacky Connell and the Rev. Bill Ayers officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Mrs. Sweatt died March 6. She was born Aug. 25, 1933. She was a loving wife of 51 years and was a devoted member of Eden Westside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Class.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Sweatt of Odenville; two daughters and son-in-laws, Teena and Charles Thompson of Coal City and Terri and Travis Beason of Odenville; two grandchildren, Jeared Layton and Misty Beason of Odenville; one sister, Gloria (Melvin) Greathouse of Illinois; five brothers, Pat Ferguson (Sue) of Odenville, Mike Ferguson (Mary) of Cook Springs, Barry Ferguson of Pell City, Cecil Ferguson (Faye) of Cook Springs and Richard Ferguson of Cook Springs; four stepgrandchildren, Candy Brotherson and Mandy Beason of Florida, Aprille Thompson and Tommy Thompson and three stepgreat-grandchildren, A.J. Bunt, Chase Tucker and Tanner Thompson.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

The family received friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Eden Westside Baptist Church Building Fund, 223 Wolf Creek Road N., Pell City, Ala., 35125.

Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.
