Pell City Relay brings in $83,000 for the American Cancer Society

Pell City’s Relay for Life was held Friday night at Pete Rich Stadium at Pell City High School. There were 27 teams and the event reported $83,000 in collections as of Friday. The American Cancer Society allows Relay teams to take until August to declare an official total. At left, cancer survivors and caregivers open the Relay and below right, the luminaria spell out “Hope.” Below left, Relay supporters of all ages took part.
