According to Police Department Lt. Jason Busby, the vehicle is a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck with ladder racks.
The truck also had ladders and toolboxes in it when it was stolen.
The truck was stolen from an AIDB garage on Institute Lane between 4 p.m. Friday and 6:15 a.m. Monday, Busby said.
The truck is white, with AIDB decals on the doors and a state vehicle license plate.
The first stolen institute vehicle is a white 1995 Chevrolet Sports van, again with the AIDB logos on the sides and a state license tag S6674A. It was stolen between 4:30 p.m. May 12 and 9 a.m. May 13 near Hawkins Chapel.
One of the van’s tires, along with some lug nuts, were recovered from the scene of the earlier theft by AIDB campus security. The presence of dually tire tracks near the chapel indicate the van was likely rolled onto a wrecker. The missing tire also makes it unlikely that the vehicle was driven off.
The van had not been recovered as of Monday afternoon.
