Alabama State Troopers helped direct traffic at the scene. Munford Police Chief Jeff Rutledge said two people were injured and had to be flown by LifeSaver to University Hospital in Birmingham.
Rutledge reported they were in critical condition. He said the driver of one of the vehicles was arrested for driving under the influence.
