Sylacauga resident Millecent Huntley had just finished cooking when a tree fell on her house at 201 West Park St. She said she saw the tree falling and said, “O my Lord have mercy.” The Fire Department responded to inspect the gas meter and discovered it to be undamaged. The tree did rip the electrical service off the house and damaged Huntley’s vehicle under the carport.
