TALLADEGA COUNTY — Voters in Talladega County appear to be following the state trend of voting in favor of Amendment One Tuesday. In spite of the overall rainy weather, nearly 10,000 voters made it out to the polls.

Some 7,086 voted in favor of the amendment, or approximately 73 percent, while 2,543 voted against it. This total includes absentee ballots.

Any provisional ballots cast Tuesday will be unsealed next week, according to Talladega County Probate Judge Billy Atkinson.
