“We have an exciting line-up of entertainment,” Chamber of Commerce executive director Erica Grieve said.
Entertainment set for the front of the courthouse includes a car show and music entertainers Carson Bruce, Peter Boyle, Andrew Davis Band, along with the Line Dancers.
Hayden Tumlin will perform on the street in front of Monkey Bizness at 6 p.m., and One Eyed Mary will perform at 5 in front of the Garry House Café.
Encore Dance Studio will perform at 6 p.m. in front of the courthouse monument.
Grieve said the event will start at 5:30 and end at 8:30 p.m.
“We would love people to stop by on the way to the football game and cheer for the Panthers,” she said.
The event is held to encourage people to visit the historic downtown district of Pell City. Local stores will remain open and offer discount sales.
Grieve said the downtown committee will meet and decide about whether to continue the Fourth Friday Downtown into September and October, but no decision has been made.
She said a Fourth Friday event is definitely scheduled for November.
“We don’t have a date set for it yet,” Grieve said.
She said street vendors will offer food, ice cream and drinks at tonight’s Fourth Friday Downtown Pell City.
