“We are remembering the Lord’s presence in our life,” said Sherry Daniel, the Women’s Ministry Leader and church secretary for Cropwell Baptist Church in Pell City.
Daniel said tickets are still available for the conference, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 21.
“So far, we have about 140 women who have purchased tickets,” Daniel said.
She said tickets are still available through next week at a cost of $15 apiece.
“We are going to take time to look back on our lives and to remember His goodness throughout our lives,” Daniel said.
The event will start at 9 a.m.
“We are expecting everything to wrap up at 2 p.m.,” Daniel said. “Everyone is encouraged to invite a friend, neighbor or co-worker to this ladies event.”
The Women’s Conference has three guest speakers and the event includes a tablescape luncheon with hot foods and door prizes inside the church’s Family Life Center.
“You really don’t want to miss this event,” Daniel said.
She said participants can enjoy music, drama and testimonials.
Speakers include Jennifer Kelley Donaldson, April Kyle and Page Hughes.
Donaldson will speak about “Remembering His Deliverance” from 9-10 a.m., Kyle will speak about “Remember His Grace” from 10:20-11:30 a.m., and Hughes will speak in the final session from 12:30-2 p.m. about “Remembering His Goodness.”
Donaldson is a lifelong resident of Pell City. She is married to Clay Donaldson and is the mother of twins, Parks and Claire. Donaldson is a school counselor at Iola Roberts Elementary School.
Donaldson will give testimony as she remembers how God turned her life around and delivered her for His glory.
Kyle, who is originally from Chattanooga, is the mother of two children, Daniel and Hannah. She has been married 14 years to Heath Kyle, the owner of the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Pell City.
Kyle is a third-grade classroom teacher turned home school mom. She has a true passion for studying and teaching the Bible, and enjoys singing.
Kyle is expected to give testimony as she remembers God’s grace, even through times of heartache.
