Slade Blackwell, R-Mountain Brook, is a first-term senator currently representing portions of Jefferson and Shelby counties. As a result of redistricting, his district will stretch to include Childersburg beginning in January. Sen. Jerry Fielding, who currently represents the area, will continue to represent much of Talladega County, less the Childersburg area.
The luncheon will be held in the Margie Sanford Building at Central Alabama Community College, and tickets are $8 for chamber members and $12 for guests.

Previous speakers for the quarterly luncheons have included Fielding, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, and sports physician Dr. Larry Lemak.
