According to Captain Leon Thomas, the resident was told that the side door of her trailer had been forced open sometime between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Upon returning, the owner determined that copper wiring valued at about $3,500 had been stripped out of the inside of the trailer. The trailer’s underpinning, valued at $300, was also stolen.
The victim said this was the third time her home had been broken into, and named a suspect, but no arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.
