Tom Greene, Rotary 6860 district governor, spoke at a Sylacauga Rotary Club meeting Tuesday at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Greene shared a district update and encouraged members to grow involvement in the international service club and live by its guiding principles. “Leadership is taking people to a place they did not know they could get to on their own,” Greene said. “Through the things you are doing in your community, I want you to realize you are showing people the way. Sometimes people have barriers, and you’ll help them get through those barriers and see a better life on the other side.” Pictured, Rotary President Steve Marlowe presents Greene with a gift at the meeting.
