Local Military Assistance Personal Support volunteer Robin Jennings said efforts to get used cell phones for the “Cell Phones for Soldiers” program will continue through Dec. 30.

The donated cell phones are recycled, and soldiers are provided a 60-minute call card with each donated phone.

There are several cell phone dropoff points in the Pell City area, including Lakeside Hospice, Lucky’s Bait and Tackle and Riverside Outdoors.

Alabama Telco Credit Union is sponsoring the local “Cell Phones for Soldiers” program.
