TC Central defeats ASD, 50-40

TC Central jumped out to a 22-8 lead against ASD in the first quarter to give them the momentum for a 50-40 win.

The Lady Silent Warriors were led by Tuesdae Dunklin, who scored 16 points and 88 percent from the floor. Te’Chana Dunklin was the team’s second-leading scorer with 15 points. Ashley Laster led the team in rebounding with nine rebounds, while chipping in four points.

The loss moved the team to 5-5 overall.

The team plays tonight at Wadley with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m.


TC Central outscored ASD 22-7 in the fourth quarter for the win Tuesday night.

In the losing effort, Uriah Stallworth led the Silent Warriors with 10 points.

Eddie Thomas led the team in rebounding with 10, while also scoring seven points. Anthony Scott also contributed seven points.

The loss moved ASD to 5-5 on the season.

They will play again tonight at Wadley.
