Friends, family, local business leaders and city officials gathered Wednesday morning on a vacant lot on Comer Avenue for the official groundbreaking ceremony of the new RE/MAX Hometown Properties building. Site work will begin in January, and construction of the 2,215 square-foot facility is expected to be completed in April.
