The First Presbyterian Church of Sylacauga’s women’s group received a grant from a benefactor and used the money to host a Christmas party and luncheon for local children with special needs. The children received Christmas gifts after meeting and talking to Santa Claus. In addition to Christmas gifts the First Presbyterian women also had activities for the children including making Christmas ornaments, decorating cookies and they made a picture frame to hold the photo of themselves with Santa. The local Civitans cooked chili for lunch for the families attending .
