Richardson leads CVA to 55-51 win against Morgan Academy

Danielle Richardson had an impressive fourth quarter, scoring 17 points in the quarter to give CVA a 22-8 advantage and a 55-51 win.

Richardson finished the game with 29 points, eight steals, and five assists. Kaylan Rich had a double-double, scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and also had six blocked shots.

Allie Craft was a defensive presence for the team. She played nearly the entire second half with four steals, managing not to foul out while playing man-to-man defense. She finished the game with 10 rebounds. Brandy Hardwick, getting her first serious minutes for the varsity team, played mistake-free while getting four rebounds.

CVA will play again this morning at Morgan Academy in Selma against South Choctaw Academy with tipoff at 10 a.m.
