Two-vehicle wreck injures three

A two-vehicle accident on the 275 Bypass in Talladega resulted in three people being hospitalized, according to Talladega Police Department Capt. Leon Thomas.

According to the police report, a white Toyota Corolla was northbound on the bypass when it struck of a green 2000 Toyota Tundra at the intersection of Jackson Trace Road.

Both vehicles ended up striking the guard rail after colliding with one another.

The driver of the Tundra was identified as William G. Beecham Jr. of Talladega. He was transported to the emergency room of Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega with injuries that were described by Thomas as not life-threatening.

There were two females in the Corolla, who were both transported to the emergency room at Coosa Valley Hospital in Sylacauga. Thomas said their injuries were also not life-threatening.

The names of the two females were not immediately available Monday afternoon, and no information on the condition of any of the injured parties was available Monday evening.
