Burglaries reported in Sylacauga

According to Sylacauga police reports, two burglaries and one theft of property have been reported since Christmas.

The first incident was a burglary reported Dec. 28 at a residence on the 40 block of Shady Oak. Stolen was a black Dell desktop computer, white washing machine and dryer, General Electric A/C unit and a white Maytag refrigerator. The burglary occurred between Christmas Eve and Dec. 27.

Another burglary was reported Dec. 27, but actually occurred between Nov. 1 and 29. In this case, assorted household good were stolen from a storage facility.

The theft of property was reported in the Save-A-Lot parking lot on Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. A red pocketbook was stolen containing a driver’s license, ID card, social security card, pistol permit, a $100 bill and various other cash.
