A Talladega man has been arrested on a felony possession of marijuana warrant from Georgia, according to Talladega Police Department Capt. Leon Thomas.

Cornelius Lashawn Kelly, 34, was being held at the Talladega County Metro Jail awaiting extradition, Thomas said. He was arrested Monday without incident.

Kelly faces charges of possession of one ounce or more of marijuana in Georgia, which is a felony. Further details of the Georgia charges were not available.
