A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Alabama 77 and the 275 Bypass Friday resulted in one injury, according to Talladega Police Chief Jason Busby.

At around 12:20 p.m. Friday, a 1998 Dodge Caravan was traveling southbound on 77 when the driver ran the red light, Busby said. The Caravan then struck a 1996 Ford Aspire on the bypass.

The passenger in the Aspire was transported to the emergency room of Citizens Baptist Medical Center, Busby said. Both drivers were uninjured.

The accident remained under investigation Friday afternoon, with no further information available.
