The Lincoln Police Department made an arrest Tuesday in connection with the Dec. 28 double homicide on Roberson Road.

Lincoln Police Investigator Matt Hill said Jonathon Davis, 23, of Lincoln is charged with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling, both felonies.

Hill said on Dec. 28, officers responded to a shots fired call. Deonte Strown, 27, was found in the driveway of the residence. Officers were later informed that Luann Story, 47, was taken by personal vehicle to the hospital where she died later that night. Both victims died of gunshot wounds.

Lincoln Police Chief Travis McGrady said he had no further comment regarding whether further charges were pending.

“It is still an ongoing investigation,” he said.
