Residents in the west Bemiston area in Talladega may experience brief periods of interrupted water service between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Jan. 30, when the Water and Sewer Department will be conducting valve tests.

“The areas affected are between James Street, Stephan Street, Gregg Street, Farwell Street, Judson Street, Cedar Brook, Oak Terrace, West Parkway Ave., Frank Street, West Roberts Ave. and West Damon Ave.,” according to a press release. “This testing is necessary for the replacement of a fire hydrant in this area of Bemiston. If the weather becomes too dangerous for our employees the work will have to be rescheduled.”

For any further information or assistance, please call the main water office at 256-362-4439 or the service center at 256-362-6211.
