This year’s Leadership class has decided to have the Hernando DeSoto wall mural, long a focal point of the city, repainted. They have chosen an artist, and work is to begin soon.
We think that is a laudable project, helping to preserve a landmark of Childersburg.
And just like other Leadership programs throughout the area, Childersburg is demonstrating its dedication to developing leaders who will carry on the good works needed to make a good community even better.
We salute the graduating class of Leadership Childersburg, and we urge support of its effort to serve the city in such a useful way.
