Imagination Library of Pell City is on the receiving end of a $2,700 check from St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital, a move that should help the organization move the program forward.

It involves free books for children ages 0-5, which are sent to their homes each month, and it helps boost reading skills among those children and builds on the importance of reading in their lives.

Imagination Library continues to grow and be a vital part of promoting literacy in the community.

And we thank hospital officials for recognizing its importance and taking financial action to keep it going in the right direction.
