At Tuesday’s National Night Out in Noble Park, they did turn out and got involved in an evening of fun and fellowship that was designed to do just that.
Featuring live music, food, ice cream and other activities, the event helped promote more constructive ways for children to spend their time, which helps prevent and fight crime.
We salute the Sylacauga Police Department for hosting the event. It is a worthy quest, and members should be commended.
