A young woman and an infant were transported to the hospital after a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning on Alabama 34. Stemley Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident near Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at approximately 10 a.m. where the Buick Riviera had flipped over on its roof, injuring Mandy Hunter, 22, and Myleah Strown, three months old. The accident is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
